We operate a form-first intake and a Free 72-Hour Growth Sprint. We aim for minimal tracking, consent by default, and client-owned accounts wherever possible.

1. Who We Are & Roles

BrandsBuilders Agency (Alberta, Canada). For most activities, we act as a service provider/processor to our clients; for this website and our own outreach, we act as a controller.

2. What We Collect

Information you provide

• Application forms (e.g., Free 72-Hour Sprint, Growth Partner): name, email/phone, company, website, city/industry, goals, preferred contact, and access preferences.
• Contact: messages sent to hello@brandsbuilders.agency or through our site.
• Newsletter: email address and consent status.
• Project delivery: credentials/roles you grant in client-owned accounts (e.g., GA4, GSC, ad platforms, hosting).
• Billing: processed by third-party providers; we don’t store full payment details.

Information we generate or observe

• Loom previews for the free sprint using public data/screens; no private access required until you approve.
• Technical: IP, device, browser, pages, referrers, time on site; collected only to the extent needed for security/analytics.

• Review applications, qualify fit, and operate the Free 72-Hour Growth Sprint.
• Deliver Growth Partner services (web, Local SEO/GBP, paid media, measurement).
• Communicate by email/phone/text when you consent or when reasonably expected to fulfil your request (CASL).
• Security, debugging, and improving our site and processes.
• Legal compliance and record-keeping.

4. Legal Basis / Consent (PIPEDA & CASL)

• Consent: intake forms use explicit consent for contact; newsletter uses opt-in with unsubscribe in every email.
• Legitimate interests: running a secure site, preventing abuse, and replying to your inquiries.
• You may withdraw consent anytime via links provided or by emailing hello@brandsbuilders.agency.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We avoid heavy third-party tracking. By default we use:

• Essential (required for forms/security).
• Light analytics to understand usage (aggregated/limited retention). We prefer first-party or privacy-respecting tools.

You can control cookies in your browser. We do not run interest-based ad trackers on this site.

6. Sharing

• Service providers: hosting/CDN, form handling (e.g., Netlify Forms/Typeform/Google Forms), email delivery, analytics, billing, project tools—under contracts and only for the stated purposes.
• Access you grant: collaborator/manager roles in your client-owned accounts (you can remove us anytime).
• Legal: when required by law or to protect rights, security, and integrity.
• No sale of personal information.

7. Retention

• Form submissions: up to 12 months for non-clients or until you request deletion.
• Client records: for the engagement + up to 24 months post-project (or longer if law requires).
• Analytics logs: shortest feasible period, typically 90–180 days in aggregated form.

8. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or portability, and object/withdraw consent to marketing. We aim to respond within 30 days. Contact: hello@brandsbuilders.agency.

9. International Transfers

We may use providers with servers in Canada, the U.S., or elsewhere. We apply contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.

10. Security

• HTTPS/SSL, role-based access, least privilege.
• Secrets stored in client-owned systems where possible; audit of collaborator access.
• Vendor due diligence and periodic reviews.

11. Children

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. If we learn we collected data from a minor, we’ll delete it.

13. Free 72-Hour Growth Sprint Notes

• Application form filters fit and provides baseline info.
• Initial Loom uses only public data; implementation requires temporary access you control.
• Daily updates and a final before→after Loom are delivered; scope is intentionally narrow.

14. Hours & Contact Preferences

Operating hours: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM, seven days a week (Alberta). You can choose email, phone, or text as your preferred channel on our forms and can change this anytime.
